Kingdom Come: Deliverance II (KCD II) is the highly anticipated sequel to the historical RPG, once again developed by Czech studio Warhorse Studios and released on February 4, 2025. The game builds on the success of the first installment, which gained popularity for its realistic portrayal of the Middle Ages. Like its predecessor, KCD II is set in 1403 during the turbulent period of civil wars in the Kingdom of Bohemia. New locations in KCD II, such as the Trosky region, are again inspired by real Czech landscapes and authentic historical sites. Our goal at kcdmap.com is to connect this virtual representation of the Trosky region with its authentic historical prototypes.
Hrad Trosky
Great Castle Trosky, Fortress of Otto von Bergow
Trosky Castle, the imposing fortress of Lord Otto von Bergow, towers above the surrounding landscape. Its most prominent features are the two towers – Baba and Panna.
The ruins of Trosky Castle are one of the main symbols of the Bohemian Paradise, thanks to their striking position atop two basalt cliffs. The castle was built at the end of the 14th century, and its strategic location earned it a reputation as an impregnable fortress during the Hussite Wars. In the second half of the 15th century, the castle gradually fell into disrepair due to frequent changes in ownership, and by the Thirty Years' War, it was completely abandoned. In 1925, the castle became state property and has been maintained by the state ever since. In recent years, various stabilization and conservation efforts have taken place. In 2000, a staircase was built to the top of the Baba tower and a new viewing point was established below the Panna tower.
Where is Trosky Castle located? You can see the exact location on the map. You can visit the place, explore it and have a nice trip around the area. Use Maps.com for detailed planning.
